Implanting on Naxos
Implanting on Naxos is a performance series for new productions and guest performances from the regional, national, and international theater, dance, and performance scenes.
This co-production by ID_Frankfurt e.V. and the Theater Willy Praml seeks a prominent place in the regional theater, dance and performance scene at the intersection of artistic and political positioning and networking as a reaction to the results of the Frankfurt Perspective Commission. Three weekends in August/ September 2013, six exciting implants were presented in the Naxoshalle. In this context, the Naxoshalle was not only a presentation venue but also a starting point for the artistic works; the artistic operations were always conceived in relation to their place of production and their production conditions.
